For my final major project at university I worked on a Social Justice brief. It involved creating a brand complete with a visual identity, this was implemented through designing brand materials such as print and digital assets, promotional products and a website. As part of the delivery I successfully created and managed my own fund-raising campaign. The campaign was launched in order to help keep homeless women safe whilst on the streets of Plymouth by supplying them with personal panic alarms. I worked in collaboration with a local shelter called ‘Shekinah’ in order for them to distribute the panic alarms to women in their care. By analysing and researching the problem I was interested in assisting, coupled with strong digital and print advertising and communication, I was able to successfully build a brand and market a campaign to the correct audience. My campaign was so successful that the local newspaper and radio ran a feature article on it.
